Create a database in Microsoft Access based off the results of a music and social network survey. You will need to survey at least eight people; four friends and four strangers
You need to get the following information:
First Name, Last Name
Zip Code
Contact Phone number: ( A fake one is Okay )
Social media profiles (Max 3)
Email address
Three favorite Musical Artists
Albums recorded by Each artist ( No more than 3 )
Number of tracks on each album ( track number, name, running time )
Step 1.
After you have collected the data start by creating and entity relation ship diagram ( ER Diagram ) and use it to establish the tables you will be needing to create your database and their relationship to one another.
Step 2.
Open up Microsoft Access and Start designing your database. Create your tables, define your types, add input masks where necessary and create your table relationships.
Step 3.
Input your data into the tables, note that some tables will be dependent on others. If you one of your primary keys is a foreign key in another table, you will need to add the data to the primary key before you can reference it somewhere ells.
Step 4.
Build two simple queries. For one determine which social network is most popular and list all respondents who utilize it. For the second determine which artists is most popular and list all the respondents who chose them in the survey.
